MUSICAL DUALITY: 8 WAY PATH TO TRUTH AND SELF IDENTITY
Applying the concept of duality to music, tonality, and artist expression; We discover it follows the same rules as any constraints within a system or divine order of alignment. Everything that is created is affected by the principle of duality only thing that changes is how and what we define it as. Hence, the statement goes, “the name will change but the principle will always remain." The purpose in the searching for balance is to understand who you are and what you align with while understanding that it will create an opposing variable to create balance within the network or system. The 2 pathways of music duality that I began to explore came in the balance between the Mind and the Heart:
Balance of Mind & Heart
These musical works "Part1: Mind over Matter" and "Part 2: Courtly Love" were designed as mirrors of real stages of my own personal life experiences to explore the concepts of heart and mind in my relation to the 8 principles of duality. The 8-way path is broken down into 2 sections based on elements of mental stability and feelings in faith. While this journey leads to on outcome of truth in my experience the soul is not yet completed. To truly master the principles, I began to embark on the last and final stages of duality which focuses on becoming centered in the void.
